Sentiment Survey - June 2021
In Queensland, consumer sentiment improved, considerably on many measures, since last year with the highest recorded ratings of value for money of electricity and gas and strong improvements in confidence about future energy market outcomes.
The proportion of household consumers expressing confidence the market is working in their long-term interests has also increased. However, many consumers are concerned about the energy transition currently taking place, as seen in questions about affordability, future reliability and other issues.
